Paul was born in Pwllheli, North Wales in 1965.
A Welsh, Canadian artist with a strong influence of his 18 years in Canada. Paul started drawing when he was only ten. His art has been developed on and off throughout his life as a self taught artist.
Over the past five years Paul has done both voluntary and paid work teaching Mental health and Special Needs adults with his company Art for All. Paul also taught Elderly students at a local day center how to draw and paint.

Paul won the award for his work in the community teaching art. The award was for building an art studio to work from at home.
