Hi Paul, Now this is looking good mate. Free webs have made some improvements since I was on templates I think. Try dropping the "... by Paul Beattie" off the title to stop the pages from horizontal scrolling. You don't really need it anyway as it's in your www. address. Nice work sir, Chris

Hi Paul, The white background is very good too, you focus on the paintings more & makes them appear bigger & more like their local colour. Maybe the top frame needs a little more tweeking, can just read Paul Beatt... might work to have the title in a smaller font for most size of monitors- it is something i haven't totally understood yet, will let you know if i get a breakthrough on that! Having the menu across the top gives lots more space, which you've used really well, i think, lots of people will really like to browse your site, all the best as ever, colleen

Looks great now on my laptop. I think window resize adjusts layout of text & images to suit different monitors for the different site visitors. Chris's site does this, if you adjust the size of your browser the text doesn't disappear, it wraps down, so you can see it- maybe Chris could let you know how? I'd be interested too, as i've wondered about this for years when working on my site! best wishes, colleen
